BADMINTON CONTINUES IN SCHOOL HOLIDAYS
Just to let you know that our badminton club continues throughout all school holidays. We only have to close for exams when the hall is used for GCSEs in May and June, and mock exams at other times, usually a week in November and in January. This year we play in April, right up to Wednesday 30th, except for Good Friday the 18th. It is expected the summer exams will run from 5th May to 25th June, so we will resume in July. We will always communicate with you by email when closures are coming up and also when we will re-open.
Meanwhile here is a plug to Badminton Insight on YouTube run by Britain’s Greg and Jenny Mairs who reached the quarter-finals of the All-England Open, this year, beaten by a pair from South Korea. There are lots of tips for an improving player here and at many sites across Youtube. Have a look in May and June when we are closed.
